Looking for a career that makes a difference? Gaston County Schools is hosting a job fair on Wednesday, June 18, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Gaston County Public Library, 1555 E. Garrison Blvd.
The job fair will focus on secondary teaching vacancies, school nutrition positions, and bus driver opportunities.

Kindergarten enrollment for the 2026-27 school year is open. Families can complete the application by visiting the registration page.
The Board of Education will meet on Monday, June 15, at 5:30 p.m. at the Gaston County Schools Central Office, 943 Osceola Street, Gastonia. The public is invited to attend. Beginning June 1, Gaston County Schools is offering its annual summer nutrition program at community sites across the county.
Gaston County Schools will operate on a four-day, 10-hour work week this summer. School and central level offices will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. All offices will be closed on Friday. Summer hours run through June 1-July 31.
